InfiNet Wireless launches a new interference mitigation technology
London, 3rd July 2012 - InfiNet Wireless, a leading global manufacturer and provider of carrier-grade wireless infrastructure solutions for Fixed Broadband Wireless Access (FBWA) and wireless connectivity, today announced the global launch of Instant Dynamic Frequency Selection (Instant DFS), the latest major technology addition available for its family of high capacity wireless solutions.
Instant DFS is available with immediate effect as an option for the company’s InfiLINK 2×2 Point-to-Point range of solutions as well as for its InfiMan 2×2 Point-to-Multipoint base stations. This new development is fully compliant with the FCC and ETSI standards and is typically deployed for point-to-point connectivity as well as in networks where link stability and reliability are mission critical.

Through an agreement with Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU), Telenor now has the ability to launch its own store for digital content, giving its customers easy access to a wide variety of personalized digital media services such as music, applications, games, e-books and video. Telenor subscribers in Serbia are the first to find the content they want most in a single, localized storefront that knows who they are and what they like.
Telenor commences action in Bermuda seeking declaratory judgment on Altimo’s mandatory tender offer allegation
”VimpelCom is a Bermuda company. The issue of whether Telenor and Weather Investments have an obligation under VimpelCom’s bye-laws to make a mandatory tender offer is a question of law for determination by a Bermuda court,” said Telenor’s spokesman, Dag Melgaard. ”We filed this claim to ensure that the court has the opportunity to promptly make such a determination.”
