Research In Motion Launches the New BlackBerry Bold 9790 and BlackBerry Curve 9380 Smartphones in Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced the launch of the new BlackBerry® Bold™ 9790 and BlackBerry® Curve™ 9380 smartphones in Vietnam. Powered by the BlackBerry® 7 operating system (OS), the new smartphones both support Vietnamese input methods and a Vietnamese user interface (UI). The two smartphones will be available from authorised resellers through Brightstar Corp. and come with an 18-month warranty with support from local after-sales service centers. The BlackBerry Bold 9790 is expected to be available January 15 and the BlackBerry Curve 9380 is expected to be available in February.
