Appogee Leave for Office launched bringing online absence management to Microsoft customers
Bracknell, June 17th 2015: Appogee has today announced the launch of “Appogee Leave for Office”, providing online absence and holiday management for Microsoft Office and Office 365 users, at the CIPD HR Software Show in London.
Appogee Leave already has 700 customers, and over 50,000 users in more than 45 different countries and is the number one HR application in the Google Apps Marketplace.
Appogee has been working closely with Microsoft to integrate Appogee Leave into the Office platform, resulting in “Appogee Leave for Office”. Microsoft users can now benefit from an in-email Appogee Leave app allowing for fast approval, visibility over absences and allowances directly within Outlook.
The integration additionally provides single sign-on to Appogee Leave for customers using Office 365 and Azure Active Directory. These customers also benefit from automated user provisioning, allowing for automated user upload from your Microsoft Office 365 domain.
Stuart Keeble, CTO of Appogee, commented “Appogee Leave has seen rapid growth in the last three years, coming alongside mass adoption of cloud applications by small and medium businesses. We are excited about the opportunity to extend this reach to the 1.2 billion Microsoft Office users worldwide and the fast growing Office 365 user base.”
Rich Ellis, Director, Microsoft Office Division at Microsoft UK added “We are delighted to add Appogee Leave to our Office Store. The tight integration using our Office APIs has produced a compelling solution. With Appogee Leave for Office, employees and managers are empowered to manage absence approvals directly through Outlook.”
Appogee Leave is now available through the Office Store and can be easily installed in just a few clicks. The announcement follows the recent launch of Appogee HR, an online HR Management System, which is also on show at the HR Software Show.
