iManage Work delivers against firm’s ‘blue print’ of stringent document management capability requirements
London, U.K., 09 August 2018 – Commercial law firm Lupton Fawcett is investing in email and document management system, iManage Work, and has selected Ascertus Limited to implement the solution, as part of a major technology overhaul initiative. Lupton Fawcett will gain intuitive, intelligent, secure and easily scalable document management capability that will play a key role in enabling the firm to meet its business efficiency, enhanced client service and profitability targets. Once deployed, the solution will be available to over 250 users. Ascertus provides document and information lifecycle management solutions to law firms in the UK and across Europe.
Lupton Fawcett chose Ascertus following a tender process that rigorously scrutinised the company’s experience and expertise; and for its outstanding reputation in the legal sector. iManage Work ticked every business requirement as highlighted in the firm’s ‘blue print’ of desired document management capability.
“Buoyed by the best year ever, we’ve set ourselves ambitious business goals with considerably enhanced client service being a top priority,” James Hood, Head of ICT at Lupton Fawcett LLP, elaborated. “A solid and future-proof technology foundation is critical to our growth plans, which is why we are making a very sizeable investment in IT, including software and hardware. Technology is the spring board that will help us take flight in this next phase and so, we will only align ourselves with the ‘best’ in the market. Ascertus and iManage Work fit this imperative for the document management function.”
Through iManage Work, Lupton Fawcett will institute best practice processes for email and document management across the firm’s offices in Leeds, York and Sheffield. The firm will benefit from sophisticated capability to meet the security challenges of today by monitoring and enforcing internal policy, fully supported by an audit trail. Additionally, the firm will be able to leverage adaptive behavioural modelling and machine learning to establish advanced safeguards for continuous protection of sensitive data in the organisation.
“Lupton Fawcett has taken a well-researched and methodical approach to technology adoption, based on a very clear understanding of its business challenges,” Roy Russell, CEO, Ascertus Limited, said. “This level of thoroughness to ensure that IT is in sync with business requirements is indeed refreshing. We are delighted to be a part of the team to help the firm achieve success in this next stage of its journey.”
Ascertus will integrate iManage Work with the firm’s new workflow and case management system, to enable Lupton Fawcett to optimise both functionalities for seamless operation as well as for productivity and business efficiency gains.
