Alison Henderson has been appointed as VP, Sales and Marketing EMEA for LANSA (www.lansa.com). In her new role, she will drive growth for the Low-Code, Rapid Application Development Tools business, building on the company’s expanding software and consulting services operations in EMEA.
Commenting on her new role, Henderson stated, “I’m joining LANSA at an exciting time. There is a dramatic spike in demand for new application development and modernization, as organisations move their enterprise systems to the web and to the cloud and extend them to mobile workforces. In mobile alone, Gartner estimates that the demand for mobile apps will grow 5 times faster than internal IT’s capacity to deliver them.

These projects require scarce, high cost ‘Full Stack Developers’ which have become the ‘Unicorn’ of our industry, and the lack of them is holding business back.
