Company recognised in award series designed to talent spot future mid-market leaders
Launched this year, the Megabuyte Emerging Stars award series focuses on the top 25 younger companies in the UK’s software and ICT services sectors. The award has the specific aim of shining a light on companies destined to become established mid-market leaders.
The newly introduced award forms a natural extension to Megabuyte’s existing private and public company awards series, which focus on established mid-market businesses. Companies’ performance is assessed using a derivative of the original Megabuyte Scorecard methodology.
This recognition follows impressive growth in the number of search firms and in-house talent acquisition teams who are using the Invenias platform to identify and recruit the best talent for executive and strategically important positions.
Founded in 2005, Invenias has pioneered an intuitive cloud-based platform for executive search that has seen it become the largest company providing this offering. For the last five years, year-on-year growth has significantly outpaced the market and it has more than 800 customers in its portfolio and offices across the UK, Europe, US, and Asia Pacific.
Commenting on the success, David Grundy, CEO at Invenias says, “To stay competitive during turbulent business times, organizations must hire the best talent for executive and strategic positions. Failure to do so can be catastrophic. We strive to ensure that we’re continuously innovating to ensure that our clients stay ahead of the game. This approach has resonated well with the search profession and we are the largest provider of technology to the profession. Naturally, we’re delighted to be recognized in Megabuyte’s Emerging Star rankings and acknowledged for the work of our team.”

About the Emerging Star awards
The Emerging Star awards rank the performance of smaller UK technology companies (scale-ups) with the aim of identifying mid-market leaders of the future. The awards assess the performance of both private and public companies within the ICT Services and Software sectors. The resulting rankings are compiled using Megabuyte’s proprietary Megabuyte Scorecard methodology, which assesses companies’ performance against key financial KPIs. Megabuyte’s awards differ from other growth awards in the superior rigor of their financial analysis and their specific focus on pure-breed technology companies and are widely regarded as an influential sector benchmarking reference. The Emerging Star awards are one of three award series run by Megabuyte and are sister awards to the Megabuyte50 awards, which focus on the UK’s best-performing private tech companies, and the Megabuyte Quoted25, which rank the best-performing UK quoted tech companies. Megabuyte is an origination, transaction support and data analytics platform enabling investors, advisers and CXOs to identify, benchmark and monitor UK mid-market technology companies of relevance to them. The proprietary nature of Megabuyte’s content, including its industry-leading Megabuyte Scorecard benchmarking methodology, combined with its unrivalled private company coverage, independence and deep domain experience, have served to make it one of sector’s most respected and authoritative commentators.
