5 September 2016, Shenzhen, China – ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, has announced that its customer, Hutchison Drei Austria, has beaten six competitors in the Service Experience Score (SES), the largest service survey from a customer perspective, to retain the title of mobile “Service Champion”. The SES covers 193 companies in 25 industries, with more than 55,000 customers rating their service experience, and serves as a reliable measurement of customer service and loyalty. In another test organized by Smartphone magazine and network evaluation software FLOQ, Drei topped all other competitors again and was awarded as “Best Network”.

Since 2010, ZTE has modernised the entire mobile network of Hutchison Drei Austria, including its 2G/3G/4G/CN. In 3rd party network performance tests over the past few years, Hutchison Drei Austria consistently comes out as the top performer. It topped the network performance evaluation for the first time in 2011, and recorded another first in 2012. In September 2015, the 3rd party consultant company OpenSignal organised a network evaluation on 183 global long term evolution (LTE) networks, among which Hutchison Drei Austria network ranked one of the top 10; and in the same year, it topped the CONNECT test in Austria and ranked number two in 10 operators of the DHCA area (including Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

As of the first half of 2016, the excellent network quality and rapidly growing user experience of Hutchison Drei Austria’s network facilitated the growth of its domestic market share to exceed that of T-Mobile, becoming the second largest in Austria. The 2016 first half financial statement of Hutchison Drei Austria shows that its total operating revenue reached 337 million Euros, rising 5 percent year-on-year; and its operating profit hit 116 million Euros, increasing 8 percent year-on-year.

ZTE’s innovative products and solutions, strict project management and premium engineering delivery enable ZTE to consistently construct high performance networks for operators. In the future, ZTE will help operators to establish ultimate experience mobile broadband networks, maximising their asset efficiency with its strong end-to-end delivery capability.
