To honour the martyrs of the UAE, ahead of Commemoration Day celebrated on November 30, the du Youth Council organised an exclusive trip for the members of the youth at du to Wahat Al Karama in Abu Dhabi. The event enabled members of the youth to honour the brave UAE martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend the country and protect its sovereignty. The youth delegation toured Wahat Al Karama to visit The Memorial monument, The Pavilion of Honour and The Memorial Plaza.
“The sacrifices made by the martyrs of the UAE have become an example of courage in defending the country. The trip to Wahat Al Karama has enriched the spirit of belonging within the country, and its leadership. Through the establishment of the Youth Council, we aim to enhance the potential of young people and enable them to do their part in serving the people and the citizens of the UAE ” said Ali Al Mansoori, Vice President – Human Capital Development, du.
The du Youth Council was specifically created to empower UAE youth through ICT, the Council is a platform that will enable young emirates to unlock their full career potential. It is aligned with the vision of the UAE to empower and support young Emiratis and engage them in a national quest for excellence and ultimate success.
