Mobile data privacy breaches mean churn: 83% of consumers would change operator if their privacy was compromised

Kaspersky Lab Ends Year with Winning Streak of Comparative Test Victories

Abingdon, UK, 08 February 2012 – Kaspersky Lab saw in the New Year in a positive mood after a series of top marks in several comparative tests. First up in this string of wins was corporate solution Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows and the consumer solution Kaspersky Internet Security 2012.

Both products were awarded VB100 Certification after being tested along with nearly 60 other security solutions. In the three different tests that formed the basis of the certification, both products achieved perfect results. Details of the VB100 comparative test can be found here.

Next up, the aforementioned products – Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows and Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 – fought off all other competing products in complex testing by AV-Test.org. The products gained the highest scores of 17 (average – 13.2) and 17.5 (average – 13.4) respectively. Testing consisted of several trials, including those on effectiveness of malware detection and removal, the number of false positive detections, and resource usage.
