AT&T announces availability of Samsung Galaxy Tab

AT&T says its version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet computer that I reviewed last week will be available online and at 2200 AT&T Stores on Nov 21. At $650 AT&T’s version of the Google Android-based iPad competitor certainly won’t come cheap. AT&T will offer two pay as you go plans–$14.99 for 30 days and up to 250MB of storage or $25 for 30 days of up to 2GB. Those are the same prices iPad owners pay for AT&T’s pay as you go data plans.

Versions of the Samsung tablet are also being sold by Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless.
