VIMPELCOM AGREES ON FURTHER FINANCING OF ITS VIETNAMESE OPERATIONS
Amsterdam and New York (April 26, 2011) – “VimpelCom Ltd” (“VimpelCom” or the “Company”) (NYSE: VIP), one of the world’s largest integrated telecommunications services operators, announced today that it has agreed with its local partner in Vietnam on a financing plan for its Vietnamese joint venture, GTEL-Mobile Joint Stock Company (“GTEL-Mobile”), that could result in the Company providing investments in total of up to US$500 million through 2013. The Company has completed the first stage of the financing plan by paying US$196 million for newly issued shares and thereby increasing its stake in GTEL-Mobile from 40% to 49%. All proceeds from this financing will be used for GTEL-Mobile development. The Company’s local partner in the joint venture, GTEL, has retained a 51% interest in GTEL-Mobile. In connection with this investment, the joint venture parties have also agreed that the Company will assume operational management of GTEL-Mobile.

The HP Scitex LX820 Printer, a 126-inch (3.2 m) latex ink printer that offers high productivity at a lower price in a roll-to-roll configuration.

HP Enterprise Services has been chosen for a single-award firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract worth up to $2.5 billion over a four-year base period with two three-year option periods by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
HP will provide end-user desktop services and devices that will increase NASA’s efficiency and allow its employees to more easily collaborate in a secure computing environment.
HP Cures Networking Ills for Healthcare Providers with Converged Infrastructure

HP today announced that three healthcare providers serving thousands of patients have chosen HP Networking solutions to improve service delivery and simplify their IT infrastructures.
San Francisco-based Brown & Toland Physicians, Enloe Medical Center of Chico, Calif., and the Kantonsspital Graubunden (KSGR) in Chur, Switzerland, evaluated several competitive solutions, including HP and Cisco.
