Infosys Prize 2010 honors Indian scientists for nation building
The Infosys Prize 2010 honored six scientists for outstanding research contributing to the progress of India. At the awards ceremony in Mumbai, Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India, presented the laureates with a 24-karat gold medallion, a citation showcasing their body of work, and a cash prize of Rupee 50 lakh. The Infosys Prize is among the highest in terms of prize money for any award in India.
