Hopkins joins Telenomics to help grow retail footprint and enter SMB market
LONDON, UK. – November 6, 2014 – Telenomics, a strategic O2 business partner that offers dedicated telecoms business account management and O2 products to consumers, today announces the appointment of Curt Hopkins as its new CEO. Hopkins joins Telenomics to help with the continued growth of the organisation’s retail footprint and to bring engaging, fresh and innovative technology experiences to the high street. With him, Hopkins brings over 20 years’ experience across the mobile and IT services industry having held senior roles at both Vodafone and Redeem.
As an organisation that prides itself on offering the right technology and applications that fit into users’ lives, Hopkins’ first challenge will be to focus on Telenomics’ O2 Workshop, in its flagship store on Tottenham Court Road, which offers expert technical advice and services for growing businesses.
Having won Franchisee of the Year at the 2014 Mobile Industry Awards, Telenomics believes that the appointment of Hopkins will help continue to create an award winning business. Supporting Telenomics with its growth ambitions, Hopkins will bring additional expertise to keep taking the business forward in the retail space.
Hopkins comments on his appointment, “In the short term, my top priority is to create an amazing in-store experience across all of our stores, particularly through the O2 Workshop, whilst giving users access to expert gurus for support. In the long term, we are planning an exciting move into the SMB market, which will revolutionise the way SMBs get their mobile and cloud problems solved. I’m excited to be taking these next steps with such a visionary company and to be able to share my expertise and push the boundaries of creativity.”
